Anyone may nominate a peer, a practice, or themselves. Nominations are free and open to every licensed professional in the field.

The Aesthetic's editorial panel verifies credentials and narrows each category to a shortlist of finalists.

Public voting opens, weighted equally with the judges' scores. The industry votes; the panel deliberates.

The judging panel is drawn from the editors and contributors of The Aesthetic, alongside invited leaders in plastic surgery, dermatology, and med-spa practice. Editors' commendations are selected independently of the public vote.
